Valentine's OOTD

Monday, February 13, 2017

Ryan and I haven't celebrated an actual Valentine's Day in a few years ALL because of a disastrous staycation at the NYLO Plano that ruined what was supposed to be a romantic evening.

Long story short we signed up for a romantic package of champagne, strawberries, dinner, and a movie in our hotel room.  Sounds perfect right?  Well, you would be so far from wrong.  Not only was the restaurant running 2 hours behind on seating people with reservations they had run out of almost all the food.  There is nothing worse than trying to find a place to eat at 8:30 on a Friday night on February 14th!  After half an hour of searching we ended up getting on a wait list and eating at almost 11:00pm while paying 10 times the amount we had intended.  I was so exhausted by the end of the night we didn't even get to enjoy our movie and champagne.  I don't know what was worse that the hotel did nothing to compensate us or that we were one of almost 20 couples that all experienced the same thing!  I have never been back to that hotel and likely won't because of how bad their customer service was!!  Looking back we wished we would have just thrown our PJs on and ordered pizza, but when your in that new dating stage I think you always want to go big!  We laugh at the story now, but at the time I was NOT a happy camper!

So on a happy note I have found the perfect Valentine's Day look that is sure to make your sweetheart take notice!  If I had plans to do something for the occasion I would totally be rocking this outfit, not only is it romantic but it has the slightest bit of sex appeal in the classiest of ways.  If that isn't enough to sway you this dress is on SALE and fully stocked in all sizes!

I cannot tell you how my compliments I received on this dress over the weekend, I wore it to an event and was stopped several times by both men and women to tell me how stunning it was!  I like that it comes with a chic embellished belt and the dress has pockets, what more could a girl ask for!

Pair it with a fancy pair of shoes, loose curls and a bold red lip for the perfect date night look.  This dress would also be great for any weddings that you might have coming up... I know I have two this year so I am sure you will be seeing this dress again except styled a little differently.

Do any of you have any fun plans for the day of love?  I would love to know what your plans/traditions are!
