Flirty Floral

Whenever I go shopping I always make it a rule to try at least 1-2 things that are out of my comfort zone.  Whether it's a style I normally wouldn't wear or something else, I always try and push my
comfort level with clothing.

Sometimes you surprise yourself and fall in love with something new and exciting unlike anything you have in your closet, other times you laugh at how ridiculous you look in the mirror thanking your lucky stars you don't have to exit the dressing room in it  Trying new things is one of my favorite ways to change up my style.  If you feel stuck in a rut try something new, or give something in your closet new life by pairing it with something different.

Today's post is all about this fabulous little number.  Normally I would pass this little guy up... and if we are being honest I did on round 1.  While shopping with a friend for a cute outfit for St. Patrick's day a few weeks ago we found ourselves in Express.  When I saw this jumpsuit I was drawn to it instantly, but quickly passed it up once I realized it wasn't a dress.

A few days went by and I just couldn't get this guy out of my head.  I went back and tried a few things on, like these denim culottes- AMAZING!  I convinced myself to grab the floral jumpsuit and head to the dressing room.  OMG so OBSESSED! As a curvy woman normally things like this (especially in this print) would look terrible on me, but for some reason I found it super flattering and oh so fun.  I wanted this look to be night out appropriate, so I added a black Ada belt to show off my waist and strappy lace up heels for a little bit of sexy.  Finished with my fringe bag and simple jewelry.

I Love that this piece will easily transition into fall, making it super easy to get lots of wear out of.  I can't wait to pair it with my cape blazer for a little bit of drama and an added layer for those cooler months that seem so far away.
