one animal shy of a farm!

So Tuesday was my 32nd birthday and I am already at the age where I cannot remember what age I actually am!  I'm pretty sure I told like 5 people I was turning 33... yea that would be really wrong,
obviously math is not my strong suit!

So in honor of being a pretty unaccomplished 32 year old I decided to share 32 fun facts about myself!

1.)  I am left handed but I do almost everything except writing with my right hand... it totally confuses people.

2.)  I was adopted at birth, and to me my birthday is one of the most important days.  The reason being is to me it is a reminder of the sacrifice my birth mother had to face with giving me up, but it is also the day my adoptive parents were given a child.  So for me this isn't just the day I was born but a day that affects so many different people!

3.)  I really want to own a farm with at least 10 Bernese mountain dogs!  I mean seriously have you seen how cute baby BMD are?  If anyone wants to help me make this happen let me know!

4.) My first CD was Coolio... because obviously that's exactly the sort of thing a 12 year old should own- but man can I kill gangsters paradise during karaoke hour.

5.) I am the pickiest eater in the entire world.  My motto if a 5 year old eats it, I eats it!

6.)  All my cats are named after Texas rivers.  We currently have Brazos and Pedernales (Purdy for short)

7.)  Mexican is my favorite food.  I am a sucker for a good street taco and a margarita!

8.)  I am obsessed with dresses, last time I counted I had over 250!  (insert wide eyed emoji here)

9.)  I have always wanted to appear on TV... not like a full time actress role but like a cameo!  (and this actually might happen this summer on a pretty large network... so reality stardom here I come hint hint, any guesses what show?- and no I will not be a star).

10.)  The first designer purchase I ever made was a Louis Vuitton Speedy bag!  And I still rock the crap out of it!

11.)  The dumbest purchase I have ever made was a pair of crystal encrusted Christian Louboutin heels.  Not only were they stupid expensive but they are pretty much the most uncomfortable heel in the entire world.

12.)  I love to sew and make my own clothes... even though I am self taught.  Sometimes things do not go as planned but it is still fun to try.

13.)  I am super embarrassed/uncomfortable when sharing blog posts!  I honestly feel like a.) no one cares what I wear and b.) i'm super terrible at it but I like to do it deep down so that's why I keep doing it!

14.) I love budget shopping, even if I had all the money in the world you would still find my ass in the clearance rack at TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack!

15.) I met my boyfriend at my first job in Dallas, we hid our relationship for over a year!  (people are freakin nosey at work) now we've been together for over 5 years!!

16.)  My favorite color is all of them... or pink!

17.)  I am a makeup hoarder.  I seriously own enough eye shadow pallets to last me into the next century.

18.)  I am currently in a job that I NEVER thought I would be in!  Not only have I surprised myself with my ability to do this job but I have really grown and found a new skill set!  I love going to work even if some days I don't leave until 7:30!

19.) My biggest sale find of all time would have to be a Trina Turk dress I scored for .01.  My favorite sale find is my Fendi B-bag that I got for under 200!

20.)  I love dance, and danced for almost 13 years growing up!

21.)  When I was younger I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up and my answer was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader... or Vet!  Clearly neither of those happened and I am pretty sure you cannot make a career out of being a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, isn't there a grueling tryout process every year?!

22.)  If I could have a $1000 gift card to anywhere it would probably be Nordstrom, Target, or Ulta...  I should own stock in these retailers!

23.) My hair is naturally curly but I straighten it 99% of the time!

24.) I am originally from Edmond, OK!  But I have lived in Texas the majority of my life!

25.)  I am a HUGE college football fan, current season ticket holder for the Baylor Bears but I am a die hard bleed orange Texas fan!

Go Texas... they beat Baylor at this game!

26.) I suck at decorating my house.  I can put an outfit together no problem but the minute you tell me to pick some throw pillows I check out!

27.)  I have only been out of the country 1 time and it was to Mexico... something I desperately want to change!

28.) I went to 5 high schools growing up, which I attribute to making me more outgoing!  Because, y'all I was so uncomfortably shy growing up!

29.) My favorite bar in Dallas is the One Nostalgia Tavern aka cocktails dancing aka the one Nasty

30.) I love DIY projects so much that I started my own jewelry line!  I haven't focused on it too much lately because I have no free time but plan to bust out some new designs in the coming months.

31.)  I graduated college with a marketing degree but I am 9 hours shy of a psychology degree!  totally debating about going back and getting my full psych degree at some point.

32.) my dream is to own my own company someday either in fashion or beauty.  I feel like every twist and turn in life has been to prepare me for this one day!
