It's all in the dress

Sometimes you wake up and realize that you do not want to put a lot of effort into getting ready, especially after sleeping in and awakening to a starving tummy... I hate getting ready on an empty stomach.  After dragging myself out of bed Ryan and I agreed we would stop at one of my favorite Italian restaurants Penne Pomodoro.  Since planning an outfit and getting ready would take longer than I wanted I opted for this simple Topshop dress with a pair of sandals.

Once I got ready we headed to eat, after stuffing ourselves on Pasta and bread I talked Ryan into stopping at a high end consignment shop across the way!  It was amazing, I have always dreamed of finding a store like this with racks of jimmy Choo's and Louboutin shoes!  Unfortunately it was all still out of my price range, but it was fun to look.  My only advice for shopping at a place like this is be weary..I fount the cutest pink Valentino dress that they were selling for 500.00 not bad considering the dress was almost 1000.00, but the next day I found the exact same dress (brand new with tags) at Neiman Marcus Last Call for 300.00!  I found a lot of items that people had purchased at discount stores and sold them to the consignment shop.  Now don't get me wrong they were mostly good prices considering the retail price of the item, but as a bargain shopper I have found a million times better of a deal at the actual store or discount stores.  I have especially found good deals at stores like Last Call and Off Fifth, they usually have an additional discount on top of the discounted price in stores.
If anyone is interested the consignment shop it was called Clothes Horse Anonymous, would be a great place for a girls shopping trip!  I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and have a great week!
