The perfect Maxi Dress

I was so excited about our trip to wine country last weekend and the fact that we got to visit James Avery's HQ and facility!  I cannot wait to share a glimpse into my trip there in a few weeks, but for now, I had to share this dress.

Since it was in the high 90's I knew I would want something lightweight but also pretty enough for photos while wine tasting.  This is my second dress from Tessora, and there is a good reason why this brand is easily becoming one of my all-time favorites.  I love how feminine and bohemian their clothing is, and it each piece I own seems to be a conversation starter as I am always getting compliments.  The only issue I have with this dress is that it has no lining and is extremely see through.  To help keep me from baring it all I decided to add a nude adhesive bra to sort of line the bodice of the dress and then a nude slip to line my bottom half.  It turned out fine for me but I think at some point I may take this to a tailor and have them add a lining.

For our wine tastings we headed to 4.0 winery, it was so fun to taste and learn about the different wineries around the area.  What I noticed was that most wineries are around 15-20 for a 5-6 wine tasting.  You usually get a great education and if you really love the wines can sign up to join a wine club.  I loved how they had live music on the patios so you could sit and enjoy how beautiful everything was.  After that we headed over to Pedernales Cellars a winery I have been dying to visit for several years.  We did their barrel tasting and it was worth the 50.00 per person.  Not only did we get to try wine right out of the barrel, we also got to have a private tasting in their member's area with the most beautiful fruit and cheese plate.  I am a huge fan of Texas wines, and I think a visit out there is a great choice for a birthday, bachelorette, anniversary celebration.  We had the best time tasting wines and exploring Fredericksburg.  Our rental property was so cute and charming, and the owners went all out on making sure our stay was wonderful.  If you are interested here is the link to our little abode, it was great for two couples.

I cannot wait to share more of our trip, but for now, I have linked my outfit details below!  Happy Tuesday!
